My stay at the Doubletree By Hilton Tucson-Reid Park was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, close to Reid Park and the zoo, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. which made the experience enjoyable. However, there were definitely some issues with the room itself that affected my comfort during the stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and clean, but the mattress was horrible, making it tough to get a good night's sleep. I also noticed the carpeting was old and had some ripples, contributing to an overall need for updates.
Service
9.0
The staff were bright spots in my stay. From check-in to dining, everyone, including George at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and accommodating; they truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.
Location

The hotel's location is perfect, sitting right across from Reid Park and conveniently close to local attractions. It was easy for me to navigate around the city and find dining options nearby.
Dining
5.0
I had high hopes for the breakfast options, but I found them somewhat disappointing. The continental breakfast felt more like a basic offering than the hearty meal I was hoping for. Additionally, the dinner service was chaotic on a Saturday night, leading to some frustration.
Facilities

The hotel grounds are attractive, with nice landscaping and a pleasant pool area. However, some amenities, like the fitness center, were not fully utilized due to issues with availability during my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Doubletree By Hilton Tucson-Reid Park. The spacious rooms and cleanliness stood out, although there were a couple of issues, like noise from neighboring rooms and some minor maintenance problems. The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, really enhancing the experience for me. Plus, the convenient location made it easy to explore Tucson while enjoying the amenities offered.

The hotel is perfectly located near attractions and dining options, making it really convenient to get around town. I found it an excellent base for my business and leisure activities.

The on-site restaurant, Javelina Cantina, had a great atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. The variety of drinks was nice, though it would’ve been better if there were more options for breakfast.

The pool area was relaxing and enjoyable, and I liked that there was food service available there. The fitness center also had updated equipment, which was a nice touch.

5.0/10

My stay at Doubletree By Hilton Tucson-Reid Park was quite mixed. The beds were exceptionally comfy, which I always appreciate from this brand. but the dining experience left much to be desired with some dishes falling flat. The staff were friendly and attentive, particularly when I faced issues with my room. However, the hotel felt a bit sprawling, which made navigating the grounds a bit cumbersome at times.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and clean, although I did have a slight issue with noise from the neighboring unit. I could hear some activities through the walls. Despite that, the bed was one of the highlights of my stay.
Service
6.0
Overall, the service stood out positively. Staff members were friendly and attentive, especially at the front desk who helped me switch rooms when my initial accommodation didn't meet my needs. However, my experience with the shuttle service was disappointing due to the driver's demeanor.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was good, conveniently near attractions and parks. though it felt a bit far from local dining options, especially for those without a car.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the hotel was a letdown. The restaurant pricing felt exploitative, especially for the quality of food served. I Stick with local options if you can. Breakfast was a slight exception, as my eggs were perfectly cooked.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the pool area were pleasant and well-maintained, which added a nice resort-like feel. However, I did find some areas of the hotel like the cabanas were quite a hike from the main amenities.

5.2/10

I had a mixed experience at DoubleTree By Hilton Tucson-Reid Park. The staff were super friendly and the hotel was conveniently located near attractions, but my room left a lot to be desired. The cleanliness was hit or miss, and the bathroom was cramped with lukewarm water. Additionally, construction was going on during my stay, which added to the frustration.

Rooms
5.0
My room was clean but had an outside door, which felt odd for a DoubleTree. The bathroom was tiny and the water was only lukewarm. I also noticed a stain on the sheets, which was pretty gross.
Service

The front desk staff were amazing! They were friendly and helpful, but I wish they had informed me about the ongoing construction beforehand.
Location

The hotel's location was great, making it easy to access nearby attractions like the zoo and golf courses. Plus, it was super convenient for my travel needs.

I really enjoyed the breakfast offerings in the restaurant. The cookies at check-in were a nice touch too! But the overall dining prices seemed a bit high.

The hotel grounds were well-kept, with a lovely pool area. However, construction obstructed access to certain amenities, which was disappointing.

5.2/10

My experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Tucson-Reid Park had its ups and downs. The location was great for my needs, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. However, I encountered several issues with the room that detracted from the overall enjoyment of my stay, including cleanliness concerns and maintenance problems.

Rooms
5.0
I was disappointed with the room I got. It felt old and dingy, with stains on the walls and a strange smell. I expected a better view than rooftops and air conditioners, especially since I paid for an upgrade. The tub was also small and slippery, making it uncomfortable to use.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and did their best to help, but the lack of clear communication regarding housekeeping and amenities at check-in was frustrating. I left feedback about this, hoping it helps for future guests.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent—close to attractions and parks—which made it convenient for my trip. Plus, having space for my dog outside was a nice bonus.
Dining
8.0
I ordered breakfast through room service, and the food was hot and delicious. The availability of good dining options was definitely a highlight of my stay.
Facilities

The hotel grounds were well-maintained and quite attractive, but I found the rooms accessible only from outside, which was a bit of a downside. The pool area had a relaxing vibe, adding to the overall resort-like feel.
